PM Surya Ghar Yojana 2024

By Prime Minister Modi the scheme on 13th Feb 2024. In line with PM Modi is to facilitate services at affordable prices, the centre is set to introduce this scheme for promoting the utilisation of solar power in around one crore households by providing up to 300 units of free electricity per month.

As per new subsidy framework residential households installing solar panels can avail of a subsidy of Rs 30000 per kW for the first 2 kW, with an additional Rs 18000 per kW regarding any added capacity up to 3 kW.

The total subsidy for systems larger than 3 kW is capped at Rs 78000, ensuring substantial financial support for bigger installations.

How to Apply Online PM Surya Ghar Yojana 2024

For applying for the PM Surya Ghar Yojana applicants require to follow the instructions carefully which are given below –

Visit the official website “pmsuryaghar.gov.in”.
Begin the registration procedure.
Choose your state and electricity distribution company.
Enter the electricity customer number, your e-mail ID, and your mobile number.
Login in with your mobile number of mobile and customer number and then apply to the rooftop solar.
Once this is approved you can get the plan installed through the registered vendors in your DISCOM.
Once the above is done submit the information of the plant and apply for a net metre.
After the installation of net metres and inspection by DISCOM is completed you can get your commissioning certificate generated from the portal.
After the commissioning report, submit your bank account details and a cancelled cheque with the portal.
Finally you will get your subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.

Step 1. First of all go to the official website https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in .

Step 2. Click on the option of Apply For Rooftop Solar on the home page.

Step 3. Now select your state , select your district , select your electricity zone , enter consumer number .

Step 4. Now click on the Proceed option.

Step 5. Now enter your mobile number, Click To Send OTP in SMS option.

Step 6. Now OTP will come on the entered number, enter it in the Mobile OTP box.

Step 7. Now enter your email ID .

Step 8. Now enter the captcha code shown .

Step 9. Now click on Submit option.

Step 10. Now you will be registered on the portal.

After registering on the portal, login to the portal. After logging in, click on the link given below to get information about how to apply the scheme.

How to log in PM Surya Ghar Bijli Yojana 2024

After registering on PM Suryaghar.gov.in portal, login to the portal as per the procedure given below and apply for the free electricity scheme:

Step 1. First of all go to the official website PM Suryaghar.gov.in .

Step 2. Enter registered mobile number.

Step 3. Enter the captcha code shown .

Step 4. Now click on Next option.

Step 5. OTP will come on the registered number which you will enter and verify.

Step 6. Now you will be logged in to the portal.

Step 7. Now click on the Proceed option in Apply For The Rooftop .

Step 8. Now enter the requested information like name of the applicant, category, address etc.

Step 8. Enter your bank account number

Step 9. Enter the requested information and upload the required documents .

Step 10. Now click on the submit option.
