How to change photo in Pan card?
Follow the steps given below to know how to change photo in PAN card.
2- Now such a page will open in front of you as shown in the below screenshot. There select the option with “Changes or Correction in existing PAN data ” from “Application Type” option.
3- Now select the option “Individual” from the “Category” menu
4- Now enter all the information being asked in the Applicant information- name, date of birth, e-mail, PAN number, mobile number.
5- Now enter “Applicant Information” and then click on “Submit” button.
6- Now note down the generated token number and continue with the PAN application. As shown in above screenshot.
7- Now select the option of KYC , choose how you want to do KYC .
8- Now enter other mandatory information being asked like Aadhaar/ EID and other information being asked.
9- Now tick on “Photo Mismatch” and “Signature Mismatch” and enter father or mother information and click on “Next” button to change PAN card signature or update photo. See in the screenshot below.
10- Now in the “Address and Contact” section, fill all your personal information like address, contact etc. whatever is being asked.
11- Now go ahead and provide Proof of Identity, Proof of Address and Proof of Date of Birth.
12- If you submit the copy of your Aadhaar card, the above three requirements will be fulfilled. You will also need to submit a copy of your PAN or PAN allotment letter.
13- Now tick the declaration and click in the “Submit” button to submit your details.
14- Upload the scanned copy of the document for verification. You can also scan from your mobile.
15- Now check the form properly and after checking your information click on “Submit” button otherwise if you want to edit something, you can click on “Edit” to update your information.
16- Now if your address comes in India only then Rs.101. (including GST), which you have to pay. You can make online payment.
17- Now you save the application to take print and take out the print, so that you can post it further.
18- Send the application to ‘INCOME TAX PAN SERVICES UNIT (MANAGED BY NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited)’ to the address of NSDL after print out. Office Address is – 5th Floor Sterling, Plot No. 341, Survey No. 997/8, Model Colony, Near Deep Bungalow Chowk, Pune – 411 016 or you can also get the address from NSDL website.
19- Do not forget to send the required documents along with the form. As we have already given you information about the required documents above. Post the application along with the required documents. Now you will get a 15 digit acknowledgment number which can be used to track the application status, so you can check its status.
