Gujarat NMMS Application Form 2024-25 : The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (Nmms Scholarship) Is Given By The Government To Bright Students From Poor Economic Conditions. This Scholarship Is Given To Students Studying In Std. 8 With The Aim Of Reducing The Dropout Ratio. Under This Scheme, Bright Students Are Selected Through Examinations By The Human Resources Department Of The Central Government. The Filling Of The Form For This Scholarship For The Year 2025 Has Started (Nmms Scholarship Online Application). This Form Will Have To Be Filled Online.

Benefits Available in NMMS Scholarship : 

• Students Who Are Studying In Standard-8 Will Have To Apply Online To Get This Assistance. Students Who Pass And Get Merit In The Prescribed Quota In The District-wise Category-wise After The Examination Will Get Rs. 1000/- Per Month. That Is, They Will Get Rs. 12000/- Per Year. Which Will Be Available Till They Study Up To Standard-12, That Is, The Beneficiary Student Will Get A Total Of Rs. 48000/- For 4 Years.

Eligibility For This Scholarship : 

1. The Student Must Be A Resident Of The State Of Gujarat.
2. Students Who Are Studying In Standard-8 In Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, District Panchayat Schools, Municipal Schools, Municipal Schools And Granted Primary Schools Will Be Eligible For This Scholarship.
3. Students From The General Category And Obc Category Should Have Obtained At Least 55% Marks Or Equivalent Grade In Standard-7.
4. Students From The Sc And St Categories Should Have Obtained At Least 50% Marks Or Equivalent Grade In Standard-7.
5. Students Studying In Private Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Schools And Schools Where Boarding, Lodging And Study Services Are Provided Will Not Be Able To Fill The Form For This Scholarship.

Required Documents :

1. Aadhaar Proof Must Be Attached With The Online Filled Application Form.
2. Fee Payment Receipt (Only For SEB)
3. A Certified Copy Of The Annual Income Statement Of The Beneficiary Student's Family.
4. Marksheet Of The Student Of Standard-7 Or Its Equivalent.
5. Copy Of The Student's Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
6. Disability Certificate If The Student Is Disabled (If Applicable)

Income limit :

• The Annual Income Of The Student's Guardian Should Not Be More Than 3,50,000/- And The Student Will Have To Attach A Certificate From A Competent Authority.

Examination Fees :

1. General and OBC : 70/- Rupees
2. SC- ST And Disabled Students : 50/- Rupees

Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2025 Qualifying Marks :

1. Students Belonging To General Category And Obc Category Will Have To Secure 40% Marks In Both The Sections And Sc-st Category Students Will Have To Secure 32% Marks In Both The Sections.
2. Out Of The Students Who Have Secured Qualifying Marks, Only Those Students Who Are In Merit As Per The Quota Decided By District And Category Will Be Considered Eligible For The Scholarship.
