PGVCL Apprentice Lineman Recruitment 2024 : PGVCL is a subsidiary company of GUVNL (formerly GEB) distributing electricity in Saurashtra and Kutch, having various offices in different parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. As per the provisions of Apprentice Act - 1961 to fill up Apprentice Linemen under PGVCL, for which sufficient qualified candidates are not available from the District Employment Office, due to which the following posts of Apprentice Lineman Trainee are lying vacant under various Circle Offices of PGVCL. Eligible Candidates (Registered and Unregistered with Employment Office) must appear in person for the recruitment process with required documents.

Educational Qualification : 

• 10th pass in regular mode in recognized board.
• A two-year degree from a formal training program is required. wireman/ Electician's courses should be passed.

Age limit : 

• Date of Advertisement Age Limit from 14.08.2024:

1.  At least 18 years for all candidates.
2.  Maximum 25 years for two reserved candidates.
3. Maximum 30 years for reserved candidates.
4.  Maximum 35 years for senior candidate.
5. GSO-295 (Inheritance of employees of PGVCL only).
6. Maximum 40 years for candidates.

Required documents/certificates (attested copy) (in two sets) :

1. 04 (four) Recent Passport Size Photographs.
2. School Leaving Certificate
3. Caste Certificate.
4. All educational qualification certificates.
5. Technical Qualification I.T.I. (Electrician/Wireman) Marksheet and Certificate (with all pass/fail marksheets).
6. Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Election Card/Driving License etc.).
7. NCVT/GCVT Certificate.
8. Disability Certificate for Handicapped Candidates.
9.  Copy of the card, if any, which is registered with the Employment Exchange Office.

Selection Process :

1. Pole Climbing Test (Pole Climbing Test) as a physical fitness test prescribed by the candidate. Place 52 to pass as per instructions given.
2. Candidates have to complete this physical fitness test within 50 seconds.
3. The shortlist of the candidates who have successfully cleared the physical aptitude test will be prepared based on the percentage of total marks secured by them in the ITI examination. (If passed in more than 2 attempts in any semester or year, the percentage will be considered as 35%.).
